“Colours” by Georgia (aged 9)

CaterpillarOne year a special caterpillar went around Australia and the caterpillar’s name was Henry. Henry had special powers and his special power was changing colours, so he could turn purple, red and lots more. At the very last river, Henry met a frog jumping across the gold coins floating on the water, who said, “You can’t cross until you do something special for me.” Henry’s mind lit up and he said, “I’ll let you see me change colours,” and the frog loved that idea. Henry’s trip around Australia was good and he loved meeting a new frog friend.

“The Not-So-Evil Dragon” by Ella (aged 11)

DragonOnce upon an enduring amount of time, there lived a dragon in the mystical blue forest. The dragon lazed on his leafy bed and wrote books for himself to read, about mythical creatures like poor orphans. One day a miracle happened when an editor came into the aqua forest looking for a new author to turn famous and rich. Now the dragon was a popular story writer but was always under pressure to produce a new book every year. One year the dragon wrote a strange story about a dragon who wanted to be an author.

“Green Devil’s Adventure” by Oliver (aged 8)

Green DevilAfter Green Devil found the key to the Witherdragon portal, he jumped through it, where he saw four large poles with beacons flashing red.  Green Devil was a big, angry devil who could stand until his enemy was dead.  In the floating world, knights that could teleport waited to attack whoever entered their world so when Green Devil entered, he dug a hole to hide in.  He dug so far that when he got to the centre of the floating world, he collected a crystal that looked like an egg.  He threw the crystal to the beacons and it exploded and all the knights fell into the hole.

Student’s Story – My Dad is a Warlock – by Jemima (aged 9)

MagicianI didn’t know that my dad was a man who was a witch.  I was scared when I found out my dad was a warlock but I still loved him because he is my compassionate gentle dad.  My dad does good magic like making poor people get money and gives people wishes and they come true but sometimes he can be fierce and ferocious at the same time and he does bad magic when that happens.  After I come home from school my dad does some good magic before I go to bed.  I love my warlock dad and he loves me.
